Purpose

 

This role reports to the Director & Head, IB Retail & Small Business Analytics.

 

The Senior Manager, IB Campaigns & Pricing Strategy is responsible for advising, designing, and coordinating regional data-driven strategies for customer campaigns and pricing within International Banking Retail Banking. This regional role supports multi-product profitability, helps enhance customer loyalty, and advises on how to optimize new customer acquisition through advanced analytics, strategic pricing, and effective execution, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall business objectives and regulatory compliance. 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be responsible for: 

 

•    Campaign & Commercial Strategy:


o    Advise the design, execution, and coordination of improvements to the regional targeted sales and campaigns focused on customer loyalty, multi-product profitability, and new customer acquisition.
o    Support efforts on efficiency in commercial actions across the region, including lead generation, distribution, and overall campaign effectiveness.
o    Advise on the in-depth analysis of data to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and implement A/B testing methodologies to establish causal relationships and optimize campaign performance.

 

•    Pricing Strategy & Optimization:


o    Actively provide advisory on the definition and implementation of improvements to the regional pricing strategies for retail deposit and lending products across various sales channels (e.g., Distribution, Sales Force, Digital, Telemarketing).
o    Support market benchmarking efforts to inform strategic pricing improvements and optimize P&L impact across the region.
o    Identify and integrate non-traditional variables (e.g., expected loss) into regional pricing definitions for product originations.

 

•    Relationship Management:


o    Champion a customer-centric culture, actively building and growing proactive relationships with Segments, Product, Distribution, Risk, Digital, and Analytics regional teams to support data-driven tactical, operational, and strategic decisions.
o    Support, inspire, and promote a high-performance, inclusive work environment, attracting, developing, and motivating the team.

 

•    Risk Management & Operational Excellence:


o    Act as a direct liaison with Risk areas across International Banking, evaluating improvements aligning risk with commercial actions.
o    Ensure all activities comply with internal regulations, policies, and procedure’s, fostering a strong risk culture and adherence to the bank's risk appetite.
o    Perform effective and efficient operations within respective areas, adhering to Scotiabank's values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, ensuring compliance with operational risk, regulatory non-compliance risk, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, and conduct risk obligations.

•    Be a primary point of contact of reporting and business intelligence; provides executives support for driving International Banking’s strategy across our footprint

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have the following: 


•    Proven expert in analytics, data management and performance measurement
•    The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, Economics or Statistics from an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Banking & analytics. 
•    A solid knowledge and understanding of campaigns and pricing within Retail Banking
•    Recognized and resilient team member who inspires a results-oriented customer-centric culture.
•    Exceptional business planning, strategy development and execution skills
•    Proven relationship management skills with demonstrated seamless collaboration across multiple stakeholders including senior executives.
•    Experience in leading cross-function teams and working with multiple stakeholders. 
•    Demonstrated strong collaborative skills—Analytics is a team sport.
•    Strong Knowledge of Banking products, Risk Management and Finance.
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical and executive audience.
•    Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
•    Self-motivated, driven and impact oriented.
•    Strong business acumen, problem-solving and analytical skills to rapidly assess problem situations and creatively develop alternate solutions and approaches necessary to resolve high-level, complex problems.

 

Working Conditions


•    Work in a standard environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.  Some international travel required.
