As a member of the HR Program & Change Management Office, the Senior Manager, Change Management leads the design and delivery of change management strategies for key HR projects.  The level of complexity would range from medium to high, varying based on the type of project, and may involve: change impacts to either a subset or entirety of global employees, internal HR processes and systems teams, other business partners.  

 

As the Senior Manager, you will focus on the desired people behaviours resulting from changes made to processes, policies, systems, technology, roles and responsibilities, culture and organizational structure. Primary responsibilities will be to create and implement change management strategies that maximize business and employee adoption and usage of the changes, while minimizing resistance. These efforts will also aim to increase benefit realization of the project and ensure the new behaviours are embedded within the organization.  This is a highly dynamic project environment and you will be expected to integrate multiple projects while quickly adapting to evolving business priorities.

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Develops the change management strategy with key members of the team for the project assigned in alignment with the HR Change Management framework, focused on embedding the desired behaviours across applicable areas of the organization.
  • Leads the design of change interventions, required communications and training with key internal partners to deliver the target employee experience in alignment with the strategy.
  • Leads and delivers the necessary user testing required in advance of implementing changes to incorporate feedback to achieve target experience
  • Leads the change management stream of a project, ensuring coordination of activities amongst training, communications, and applicable business aspects.  Manages the change management project plan and determines requirements to incorporate into the broader integrated project plan.
  • Develops and delivers the change sustainment plan with Business leads to ensure a smooth transition to steady state once the project is completed
  • Facilitates engagements with employees to ensure changes are resonating well, and develops action plans accordingly when required
  • Other ad hoc project work as required from time to time

 

Requirements

 

  • MBA, or other advanced designation in Business; experience with agile methodologies is an asset
  • Strong understanding of change management theory and methodologies; change management certification is desired
  • Proven experience in delivering large scale change management programs on a global basis, from vision setting to delivery and sustainment, with a specific focus on behavioural change
  • Facilitation skills are desired
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills/relationship management/communicator
  • Must be proactive, self-Starter and capable of learning new ways of doing things
  • Capable of moving forward through complex situations
  • Strong ability to create and deliver presentations with great clarity to executive audiences
  • Strong knowledge of the Bank, or FIs is preferred
  • Ability to prepare Executive level presentations
  • Excellent ability to engage others effectively through listening and persuasion
