The Senior Manager, Group Treasury and Funding Centre Finance, serves as a strategic finance partner to Group Treasury leadership, providing financial analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision support across Treasury and Funding Centre activities. This role is accountable for delivering insights on financial performance, balance sheet management, FTP, funding, liquidity, and investment activities, while supporting executive, ALCO, and Board discussions. In addition, the Senior Manager leads process enhancement and transformation initiatives to improve finance analytics, reporting capabilities, and operational effectiveness.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Drive continuous improvement in financial analysis, forecasting, planning, and decision support activities for Group Treasury and the Funding Centre.
• Partner with Treasury and Finance senior leadership to provide insights on financial performance, profitability, strategic initiatives, and business decisions.
• Deliver clear, actionable analysis and recommendations to support executive decision-making, including presentations to senior leadership, ALCO, and the Board.
• Develop an integrated and transparent view of Treasury activities and their financial impacts, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Actively participate in the annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for Group Treasury and the Funding Centre.
• Support management reporting, including ALCO materials, Board reporting, MD&A disclosures, and monthly and quarterly financial performance reporting.
• Manage FTP Finance production activities, ensuring strong governance, controls, and process integrity.
• Partner with stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, and Accounting Policy to ensure appropriate financial reporting, accounting treatment, and business outcomes.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

• 5 years of financial services experience, preferably in Treasury, Finance, FP&A, FTP, or related finance roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, banking products, net interest margin analysis, FTP concepts, ALM, and liquidity.
• Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to present specialized information to senior audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Post-graduate education or a professional designation is an asset (e.g., CPA, MBA, or CFA).
