Purpose of the Role:

 

The Senior Manager, Global TA S&P is responsible for leading strategic technical and non-technical initiatives that enable the Talent acquisition Strategy at Scotiabank globally. 

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for high profile enterprise projects to service our Global business model. Reporting to the Director of Global TA Strategy & Programs, the ideal candidate will be an innovating and highly influential leader with proven experience managing recruitment operations, developing and managing recruitment policies/ processes with particular focus and experience in recruitment related technology enhancement and implementation projects.

 

The Senior Manager in our Global Recruitment Strategies team will:

 

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Business Stakeholders and Human Resources to understand and address business needs
  • Manage and support full project lifecycle of technical and non-technical recruitment strategic initiatives in partnership with HR Technology teams
  • Design, develop, implement and evaluate assigned global TA programs
  • Partner with Talent acquisition process and optimization teams on the implementation and evaluation of TA programs and usage of TA Tools
  • Develop governance framework for:
      • Policy and process for assigned programs
      • Ensuring programs are compliant with audit and compliance requirements
      • Access management across tools
  • Provide subject matter expertise, advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on recruitment related matters
  • Equip team in project management methodologies and best practices to support successful deployment of projects
  • Subject Matter expertise on all recruitment technologies and usage
  • Continuous focus on tech enhancement and effective utilization of our systems
  • Deliver thought leadership, research and evaluation of best practices for application within the global recruitment function
  • Continuously seek opportunities to gain efficiencies by leveraging the global HR operating model
  • Ensure ideal candidate experience is considered in all initiatives
  • Develop and execute rollout communications
  • Provide input on impact assessments, and risk mitigation strategies

 

Technical and Behavioral Competencies:

 

  • Deep functional expertise in end-to-end recruitment processes, programs, and strategies
  • Deep functional expertise in recruitment technologies
  • Experience managing HR system project roll outs with good exposure to project lifecycle
  • Communication and change management expertise.
  • Strong project management and program management skills/ knowledge.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across departments and geographies.
  • Strong strategic influencing skills.
  • Previous experience leading recruitment related technology projects
  • Fluency in Spanish is desired
