Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.

Purpose

Contribute to the overall success of Derivatives & FX Services by executing individual goals, plans, and initiatives that support the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

This role encompasses a broad range of operational responsibilities, including but not limited to: establishing and tracking KRIs/KPIs, leading project and program initiatives, implementing a robust control framework, and providing oversight and governance. Success in this role requires strong alignment with the business strategy and technology roadmap, as well as active engagement across key stakeholder groups.

As a Senior Manager Derivatives & FX Services you will identify, initiate, and develop process improvement solutions across business lines to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and stability—while ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Execute the Derivatives & FX Services strategy with a focus on strengthening the control environment and fostering a high-performance culture. Integrate the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture into daily decision-making.
  • Champion continuous operational improvement by independently resolving complex, multi-dimensional challenges. Drive measurable efficiencies through opportunity identification, business case development, process redesign, and implementation planning.
  • Lead the development of project scope statements, ensuring clear definition of goals, deliverables, and requirements. Oversee a portfolio of projects and programs, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Ensure effective and efficient operations while maintaining strong business controls to meet obligations related to operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF, and conduct risk. This includes adherence to frameworks such as the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • Promote a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank capabilities. Collaborate with front office teams, technology partners, operational units, and external stakeholders.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Proven experience in capital markets, finance, banking, or process improvement—whether in industry or academia.
  • Strong knowledge of banking and capital markets operations, particularly in derivatives and FX.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups including Front Office, QA, Developers, and SMEs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analytical problem-solving and process engineering techniques (e.g., process mapping and analysis).
  • Solid technical capabilities, including familiarity with software engineering principles and tools such as SQL, VBA, Access, and Excel.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and programs, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
