Senior Manager, Deposits Lifecycle and Engagement (Toronto, ON)

 

18-month Contract

 

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven leader to join our Retail Deposits product team. This role will shape the strategy and planning of key multi-channel initiatives that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention for checking and savings products. Working closely with marketing and analytics partners in an agile squad, you’ll develop programs that deliver results throughout the client lifecycle and ensure our deposits portfolio meets its growth and engagement targets.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:    

  • Lead the strategy, design and support the execution of multi-channel programs across the client lifecycle to drive acquisition, engagement and retention of checking and savings products.
  • Leverage competitive analysis, data and insights to conceptualize and propose marketing programs that drive the highest impact.
  • Lead the agile squad on the redesign of the early tenure journey to improve product engagement and drive primacy.
  • Accountable for setting and attaining targets associated with programs / initiatives, and effectively managing and prioritizing amongst multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Work alongside data and analytics partners to report on program performance, share key insights and recommendations with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Own end-to-end campaign management, including offer and rate changes, product updates, and issue resolution.
  • Lead cross functional team meetings, brainstorming sessions and deliver presentations to executives.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in creating strategies, developing and executing on large-scale programs and marketing campaigns
  • Experience in banking industry and understanding of Retail Products financials and P&L levers 
  • Strategic thinking and results oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross functional teams and managing wide range of stakeholders 
  • Ability to lead effective brainstorming sessions to generate opportunities and synthesize ideas into concise and actionable recommendations
  • Agile experience is an asset: background working in pods or agile teams, with comfort in fast-paced, collaborative environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw meaningful insights and recommendations from complex data
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to influence senior leaders and inspire teams
  • University degree in marketing, business or similar careers

Working Conditions

  • This role is located in our downtown Toronto, ON office location. Non-standard hours may be required to meet business objectives. Limited travel.
