The Team

The Senior Manager Client Analytics will be responsible for managing the technology implementation of the client analytics work stream which includes client valuation, share of wallet, balance sheet optimization, etc.

The role:

The incumbent will direct a team of developers and business analysts for the design, development, delivery and support of IT business solutions for the Global Banking and Markets (GBM) business line

The GBM business is currently undergoing a large scale transformation of our client program to improve how we engage our clients utilizing a data driven approach to create and identify opportunities provide a better service, and ultimately drive increase business returns.

Is this role right for you?

Responsible for leading and managing the Client Analytics Team in the following:

  • Interface with counterparts in the GBM Client Insights, Analytics, and Reporting team and working following an agile methodology deliver required analytics
  • Build and maintain the technology solution to ingest data from various trading and back office systems, perform required standardization, cleansing, enrichment, analytical calculations, and reports for business partners
  • Provide leadership in driving cultural change across technology taking on an agile engineering mindset
  • Ensure proper support procedures and processes are in place to support the various existing production systems.
  • Meeting scheduled milestones to ensure project objectives are met in a timely manner and are in compliance with the IT technology Roadmap as well as other Bank’s standards and/or external regulatory standards such as SOX
  • The incumbent is expected to function independently to ensure that the assigned tasks and project objectives are met.
  • Accountable for managing assigned project and department budgets
  • Establish and champion quality improvement activities for the department

  • Hands-on working experience in full-stack software development
  • Understanding of capital markets products and business
  • Strong project management skills, able to multi-task and manage concurrent projects
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching and motivational skills.
  • Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders
  • Disciplined in development methodology and familiar with software development technologies and concepts
  • Excellent problem solving skills have vision and innovative approach to computer based solutions and ability to convey these ideas.
  • Must be flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment, make quick and sound decisions under pressure.
  • Must be reliable, pro-active, results-oriented, customer-focused and attentive to details
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in order to deliver projects in a timely manner and deal with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Post graduate degree in computer science, business, math or engineering related discipline is desirable, along with 8-10 years of practical experience.
