The Senior Manager, Collections Analytics & MIS supports the Collections Analytics & MIS team by leading the day‑to‑day delivery of high‑quality analytics, management information, and reporting that enable effective oversight of collections performance, credit risk, and portfolio outcomes.

Working within Global Risk Management, this role is accountable for translating complex data into clear, accurate, and actionable insights that support decision‑making by senior leaders, committees, and operational partners. The role leads a team responsible for analytics execution, reporting integrity, early warning indicators, and continuous improvement of collections MIS.

 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

1. Lead Collections Analytics & MIS Delivery

•Lead a team responsible for producing data‑driven analyses, dashboards, and reporting across all stages of collections, supporting oversight of delinquency, recoveries, and credit losses.

•Develop and maintain portfolio performance reporting, including early warning triggers and risk indicators, to monitor emerging trends and support proactive risk management.

•Conduct analysis to understand customer behavior, portfolio dynamics, and recovery performance; generating insights with clear implications for strategy and execution.

•Support forecasting and outlook analysis (e.g., delinquency, write‑offs, recoveries) to inform capacity planning, provisioning inputs, and management discussions.

•Ensure reporting and analytics adhere to Global Collections Policy, risk standards, and governance expectations, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.

 

2. Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Support

•Prepare clear, concise, and well‑structured management reporting for senior leaders and risk committees, supporting the Director in delivering executive‑level insights and storytelling on portfolio trends.

•Partner closely with the Director to translate analytical outputs into decision‑relevant insights, reducing data noise and highlighting key risks, drivers, and opportunities.

•Collaborate with Collections Operations, Risk Product, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure analytics are aligned with business needs and risk priorities.

 

3. Team Leadership & Capability Building

•Provide people leadership to a team of analytics professionals, setting clear priorities, coaching for high performance, and fostering a results‑oriented, collaborative culture.

•Drive continuous improvement in analytical capability, including a strong emphasis on the automation and standardization of reporting processes; leveraging tools such as SAS/SQL, and visualization platforms.

•Ensure a consistently high bar for data quality, controls, and documentation, supporting internal audits, regulatory reviews, and issue management activities as required.

 

4. Risk, Governance & Project Support

•Support the Director in cross‑functional initiatives and projects as a subject‑matter expert in collections risk across retail and small business banking, contributing analytical expertise and execution leadership.

•Assist with audit, regulatory, and internal governance requests by providing timely, accurate analysis and clear explanations of methodologies and results.

•Ensure analytics outputs appropriately capture and quantify credit risks across People, Process, Data, Technology, and Strategy dimensions within Collections.

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

 

•5+ years in analytical role with demonstrable skills conducting statistical analyses & reporting.

•Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

•Strong background in statistical & quantitative analysis.

•3+ years of experience with statistical software packages such as SAS, R or Python.

•3+ years of experience in Retail Banking.

•3+ years of experience in Collections.

•Experience manipulating large and complex databases.

•Experience with using and/or developing credit risk scores and their application in strategies.

•Exceptional organization skills to prioritize, manage, and implement a variety of competing initiatives, on a concurrent or staggered basis.

•University degree in quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science.
