Contributes to the successful delivery and operational support of the Cloud, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. The role supports the full lifecycle of authentication services and ensures alignment with enterprise security controls, operational standards, and regulatory requirements. Ensures all activities conducted are following governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Support CloudIDP migration and resolve MFA, Passwordless, WHfB, and FIDO2 issues.
- Ensure identity and MFA compliance for employees, contingent workers, and vendor resources
- Utilize troubleshooting skills to understand systems’ issues and the potential root causes
- Utilize organizational knowledge to understand the teams and interactions involved in relevant systems/processes
- Demonstrate personal accountability for assigned initiatives and daily processes
- Support the accelerated decommissioning of Entrust VPN by assisting with migration readiness, user transition activities, and issue remediation to ensure a smooth and timely cutover
- Collaborate with 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd level support teams to resolve high priority issues impacting authentication.
- Escalate all high priority issues affecting availability, customer impact and user impact to the Manager
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and enhanced user experience.
- Monitor enrollment progress, track KPIs, and report on daily/weekly migration status
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- College degree/Diploma in Computer Science or technical equivalent.
- 5 years technical work experience in security domain.
- Hands-on experience with, Microsoft Azure / Entra ID, MFA, Passwordless, and FIDO2, Windows Hello for Business (WHfB), VPN and PKI management and Cisco Secure Client, Conditional Access Policies (CAP) and device compliance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
- Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing workflows.
- Experience supporting executive users.
- Familiarity with enterprise vendor management processes.
- Knowledge of large-scale authentication migrations or identity modernization programs
- Spanish (Nice to have)
