As Senior Manager, Application Integration & QA, you will lead how hundreds of enterprise applications securely onboard to our strategic Workforce Authentication platforms.
This is a high‑visibility leadership opportunity where you will shape enterprise onboarding standards, influence and execute IAM strategy, and build scalable QA and change practices that directly protect the bank. You’ll lead a highly skilled team of IAM engineers, integration specialists, and QA professionals—while growing your own leadership depth in a complex, regulated, global environment.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Enterprise Integration & Onboarding Leadership
- Lead the application onboarding roadmap for Workforce Authentication platforms, and oversee secure, seamless and compliant onboarding of enterprise applications aligned to IAM strategy.
Quality Assurance & Change Management
- Own QA and change management practices for Workforce Authentication engineering.
- Define and mature test strategies, including automation and integration testing.
- Ensure changes meet Scotiabank quality, release, and audit standards.
People & Delivery Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IAM engineers, analysts, and QA engineers.
- Create clarity and structure around how work gets done: Clear ownership and accountability, Healthy engineering and QA practices, Predictable delivery and execution, and proactive removal of delivery bottlenecks
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and collaboration.
Strategy, Metrics & Stakeholder Partnership
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to ensure reliable delivery.
- Partner with Product, Core Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams.
- Translate enterprise strategy into actionable tactical and strategic plans.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 8–12+ years in IAM, authentication, or identity platform engineering. Background as an IAM Manager, Integration Lead, or Professional Services Lead is an asset.
- Strong fundamentals in modern identity and authentication standards, such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, MFA, Passwordless, FIDO2, Conditional Access, risk‑based authentication, Zero Trust security principles.
- Hands‑on experience leading application integrations with enterprise IAM platforms.
- Strong knowledge of QA practices, including test strategy, automation, and quality governance.
- Technical & platform knowledge in Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory or ADFS is a strong plus.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, high‑impact environment with competing priorities.
