Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationship and leverage broader Bank relationships, system and knowledge.
• Preparation of month-end and quarter-end reporting deliverables for Scotia Digital Engineering (“SDE”) and Scotia Digital Product (“SDP”)  which includes
  • Ensure completeness and reasonability of financial information such as FTE, Capex, Software etc.
  • Understand the relevant performance of SDE and SDP plan vs actuals
  • Communication of monthly/quarterly results to Senior Manager
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly update for SDE and SDP
• Actively participate in the annual planning & quarterly forecasting for SDE and SDP management.
• Supports the development of Finance reports as requested, endeavor to improve financial information
• Supports the Director, Sr. Manager and Managers in the information gathering process and analysis for strategic and tactical projects requested by senior management
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of Technology Finance in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conducts, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
• Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

• Accounting designation (CPA/CMA/CGA) preferred with at least 2 years related work experience.
• Solid business acumen and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication abilities to execute varied activities within tight deadlines and deliver with a great amount of accuracy and completeness whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills. 
• Good proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office
