Global Finance Reporting is a divisional finance function that provides financial management and analytical support to executive management at the enterprise (All Bank) level, as well as to business line leadership across Canadian Banking, Global Wealth Management, Global Banking & Markets, and Executive Office.
The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Manager, Global Finance Reporting, and is responsible for financial reporting and analysis of monthly and quarterly results, with a primary focus on Global Wealth Management. The role also supports the preparation of executive-level reporting by highlighting key trends, product developments, market dynamics, and economic factors impacting performance.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Perform monthly and quarterly financial analysis, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reasonability of statutory and business line results. Proactively identify and resolve material issues.
- Prepare and post monthly EGL journal entries with precision, adhering to strict reporting timelines.
- Support the delivery of monthly and quarterly financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet), ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting and analytical processes.
- Collaborate with business units and management to investigate and resolve accounting and reporting issues.
- Partner closely with finance teams across business lines to stay informed of emerging issues and effectively address their impact.
- Contribute to special projects, including development of financial metrics, analytical tools, and early close initiatives, while identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Promote a customer-focused culture and leverage cross-functional relationships, systems, and insights.
- Ensure all activities align with the Bank’s risk appetite, operational risk frameworks, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF requirements, and conduct standards.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting; professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with financial systems and tools, including PeopleSoft EGL, Oracle BI (OBI), Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
