The Role
 

As a Senior Developer, you will be joining a dynamic and energetic team consisting of developers, architects, analysts, SMEs, and product owners. You will focus on digital enablement, and your hybrid role includes delivering of the solutions using Cloud Technology, Microservices, REST APIs, JAVA Spring Boot and other leading-edge technologies, maintaining high level of code quality, as well as driving technical vision and direction while mentoring junior team members. Is this role right for you?
 

• You will be providing technical direction with team input and feedback
• You will be developing code and application solutions, as well as architecture design, to satisfy product/consumer requirements and tight deadlines
• You will be providing reviews of solution designs and related code
• You will be collaborating with Senior Architects as needed to realize technical vision and direction
• You will be collaborating with external Vendors, internal Business partners/stakeholders and Management
• You will mentor and help team members in technical knowledge and best coding practices
• You will be assisting other team engineers in developing code and documentation of code standards and testing approaches
• You will participate in pager rotation
• You will be considered an expert in a key application and/or technical domain, and will be regarded for your technical competence
• You will be providing expert advice and counsel to key stakeholders on development project teams on complex issues related to “area of specialty”
• You will mentor and help team members in technical knowledge and best coding practices
• You have a passion to work in a fast pace high performance team and having a desire to take the team towards the next level
• You have a passion on learning new technologies
• You are never satisfied with “it works” and always have the desire to continuously learn and evolve with changing technology

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
 

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or specific bank and/or industry experience
• You have 5+ years of progressive work experience as a Full Stack developer with a preference for Cloud technology, Java Spring Boot, HTML 
• You have experience in version control tools, like GIT, Bitbucket
• You have good knowledge of MongoDB
• You have worked with Tech Navigators and BSA’s to articulate efforts and compile estimates
• You have experience in handling multiple assignments simultaneously 
• You have knowledge of a variety of frameworks (server side, browser side, desktop etc.,) as well as high aptitude for diving in and picking up new things
• You have well rounded knowledge in both Waterfall and Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments.
• You have a passion for driving teams towards high performance and a deep pride in quality craftsmanship and delights user
• You are a self-starter learning new technologies and refining current applications
• You are an excellent communicator including the ability to distil technical details into simple terms
• You have a passion for well-designed products and not afraid to share and explain your ideas
