The Team

Manages and drives global technology delivery for projects within Enterprise Technology ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

The Role

The role of Senior Delivery Manager is to lead IT implementation projects by working with the Business to identify and document requirements, set reasonable project timelines, document resource needs, risks and project scope. Working closely with vendors, third parties and clients to implement solutions. In addition, facilitating and leading meetings to ensure progress on solutions.

 

Some of the Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Provide consulting and guidance on project initiatives including consideration of business, technical and application of architectural standards and emerging solutions.
  • Supports technical leaders to innovate new ways to deliver products to business more effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage project participants and relationships ensuring project teams are cohesive and operating to common objectives and priorities.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment on all projects prior to deployment.
  • Management of the delivery process, contribute to the development of a consolidated project plan which incorporates technology and operational aspects of the project.
  • Contribute of the program critical path such that priorities can be set and adjusted with awareness of the potential impact on quality, cost or timeliness.
  • Ongoing communication of program status to key IT&S partners
  • Liaising with Architecture / Third party IT partners / other BNS partners to determine the best possible solution
  • Proactively identifies and communicates technology risks / issues with the potential to impact program objectives and manages creative/alternative resolution steps to mitigate the risk and satisfactorily address the issues in a timely and cost-effective manner

 

What You Will Bring to Succeed

  • 5-7 years’ experience in the financial services industry, deliver large complex projects, that have significant IT and operational components
  • Working familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • PMP Designation an asset
