We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytically strong Technology Compliance & Data Analyst to support the oversight of regulatory compliance, technology risk management, audit readiness, and financial governance across the Technology organization within Wealth Management. This role is ideal for someone who is highly proficient in Excel, comfortable manipulating large datasets, and able to transform data into meaningful insights, trends, and recommendations.
This analyst will help operationalize governance frameworks, maintain audit documentation, support OSFI-aligned compliance requirements, and provide high-quality reporting that guides decision‑making across Technology stakeholders.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
1. Data Analysis & Reporting (Core Function)
- Build and maintain Excel-based dashboards, trackers, and reporting packages for governance, risk, audit, and financial oversight.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, gaps, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide data-backed insights and recommendations to support technology governance and regulatory initiatives.
- Maintain version control, documentation, and data quality across all reporting and analytical tools.
2. Technology Governance Support
- Assist in maintaining governance frameworks, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
- Support alignment activities related to policies, standards, and decision‑making structures.
- Track and report governance metrics, including issue self‑identification trends.
3. Regulatory Compliance Support
- Support regulatory change management activities, including OSFI guidance reviews and impact assessments.
- Prepare documentation and evidence for regulatory examinations.
- Maintain compliance trackers and ensure timely updates to key stakeholders.
4. Audit Management Support
- Coordinate documentation collection, evidence uploads, and status tracking for internal and external audits (including subsidiaries such as MD and JFL).
- Maintain audit readiness files and assist with audit remediation tracking.
- Help prepare audit summary reports and stakeholder briefing materials.
5. Risk Management Support
- Help perform technology risk assessments and testing activities.
- Track KRIs/KCIs, issue/incident management, and control gaps.
- Prepare risk summaries, heat maps, and related reporting packages.
6. Stakeholder Communication
- Draft clear, concise presentations and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support cross‑functional meetings with Risk (1B), and Technology owners.

- 3+ years of experience in an analytical role (IT governance, risk management, audit, compliance, or related field).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, dashboards, complex formulas, data cleansing, modeling).
- Solid experience with PowerPoint for report creation and storytelling.
- Familiarity with technology governance, audit, or risk concepts (e.g., control frameworks, regulatory expectations, cybersecurity basics).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present insights clearly.
- Experience with tools such as SharePoint and Power BI (nice to have)
- Knowledge of OSFI Guideline alignment (e.g., B‑13) is an asset but not required.
Technical Skills
