As a Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition, you will lead end‑to‑end recruitment for mid‑ to senior‑level roles within Canadian Banking and Tangerine. You will partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers, from intake through to hiring decisions, to ensure the selection of top talent for their teams.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

Drive the full recruitment lifecycle for portfolios within Canadian Banking and Tangerine, including intake sessions, candidate communication, interviews, assessments, offer management, negotiation, and salary/benefit exception discussions.

Support complex business lines by partnering with senior leaders, HRBPs, and hiring managers to understand needs and deliver effective hiring strategies.

Manage compensation negotiations with candidates and collaborate with Total Rewards as needed.

Own the end‑to‑end candidate experience, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the recruitment journey.

Advise hiring managers and senior leaders on candidate recommendations and hiring decisions, ensuring successful conversion to new hires.

Proactively source and attract top talent using diverse channels and build pipelines for critical, hard‑to‑fill, and complex roles.

Monitor external labour market trends and broader industry developments, bringing insights and best practices into the Bank.

Identify and escalate challenges within your assigned portfolio to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders where appropriate.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive recruitment experience.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and conduct intake meetings with leaders at all levels.
- Experience sourcing candidates for complex roles.
- Experience working with an aligned business, function, or geography.
- Demonstrated expertise in behavioural interviewing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to connect big‑picture strategy to team and individual contributions.
- Demonstrated ability to identify strengths in others and help build on those strengths to meet both individual and team goals.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate business needs and provide value to hiring managers and senior leaders through innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to encourage others to explore new ideas and motivate teams to move forward after challenges or setbacks.
- French fluency (written/spoken) is preferred.
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma preferred.
