This role serves as a strategic organizational leader responsible for delivering innovative solutions and providing operational leadership in support of Engineering & Architecture (E&A) objectives.
Reporting to the Director, Business Operations & Strategy, the incumbent acts as a trusted advisor to the Director, providing strategic insight, operational leadership, and decision support to enable the successful execution of E&A priorities. The role leads a team of 10+ professionals and oversees a diverse portfolio, including strategic planning and performance management, business intelligence, communications, financial governance, and contract management.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring alignment between Engineering & Architecture and the Bank’s broader strategic objectives through operational excellence, financial discipline, and data-driven insights.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Lead engagement across GTEP Engineering & Architecture functions (e.g., Global Network Engineering, Global Platform Engineering, Architecture Governance) to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Serve as a key strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Director, supporting decision-making, prioritization, and execution of critical initiatives.
• Drive the development, alignment, and tracking of IT plans, strategic objectives, and performance metrics across E&A in support of the Bank’s enterprise strategy.
• Identify and execute initiatives that improve operational efficiency and enhance support models for Engineering & Architecture teams.
• Oversee a ~$145MM operating budget, ensuring accurate forecasting, financial rigor, and strong partnership with Finance.
• Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software maintenance contracts across 30+ vendors, ensuring timely renewals, cost optimization, and accurate financial tracking.
• Lead the design, development, and governance of business intelligence dashboards and reporting capabilities.
• Partner with senior leadership to define and monitor key operational metrics that drive performance, accountability, and compliance.
• Act as a strategic communications lead, supporting executive messaging, presentations, and organizational updates.
• Plan and deliver enterprise-scale communications, including town halls and leadership forums, supporting engagement across an organization of 300+ employees.
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Audit, IT Risk, Procurement, and Technology teams.
• Ensure alignment with the Bank’s risk appetite and embed sound risk management practices into all activities and decisions.
• Foster a high-performance, inclusive team culture, driving employee engagement, development, and succession planning.
• Ensure effective governance and controls are in place to meet operational, compliance, and conduct risk obligations, including AML/ATF requirements.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
