As a SailPoint Analyst you will be responsible for implementing and managing identity governance solutions using SailPoint technologies. Tasks may include configuring access controls, designing identity workflows, analyzing, and resolving issues related to identity and access management, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies. Strong knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar IAM platforms, along with expertise in identity and access management principles, is typically required for this role. This position involves managing code deployment after work hours, pager duty and working closely with various teams to provide secure and efficient access to resources.

In this role , you would work on the following elements :

Identity and Access Management :

  • Deploy and configure SailPoint IdentityIQ or related IAM platforms to meet the organization's identity governance requirements.
  • Develop and optimize identity workflows and identity events for user onboarding, offboarding, and role changes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in identity processes.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to identity and access management, troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Conduct thorough testing of customizations, troubleshoot issues, and implement debugging solutions to identify and resolve development-related issues.
  • Work with APIs to integrate SailPoint with external systems, enabling seamless data exchange and automation of identity processes.
  • Integrate various applications with Sailpoint like Flat-File, Active Directory, LDAP, Web-Service Applications, Servicenow, JDBC, e.t.c
  • Use programming languages (e.g., Java, BeanShell) to create and modify scripts for identity workflows, data imports, and other customization requirements.
  • Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline routine tasks, reducing manual efforts and improving overall efficiency.
  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and access permissions as needed.
  • Maintain and update role-based access control (RBAC) policies.

Access Monitoring and Auditing :

  • Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the identity and access management program.
  • Investigate and respond to access-related security incidents.

Compliance and Policy Enforcement :

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices related to IAM.
  • Enforce security policies and standards, and assist in policy development.

Troubleshooting and Support :

  • Address user access issues and provide technical support.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve access-related problems.

System Administration :

  • Configure and maintain IAM systems and related components.
  • Implement new functions and updates to IAM infrastructure using the banks CICD pipeline.

Documentation :

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of access controls, policies, and procedures.

Collaborations and Training :

  • Work closely with other IT teams to implement access controls in various systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IAM-related best practices.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in IAM operations, access control, and security.
  • Knowledge of IAM solutions and tools (e.g., Sailpoint IdentityIQ, Active Directory, LDAP,PAM).
  • Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
