The role of the PAM CyberArk Senior Associate Application Developer operates within the PAM division of the Global Identity & Access Management (GIAM) team. This role contributes to the engineering, support, and continuous improvement of the enterprise CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform through hands‑on development and operational support, under the guidance of senior engineers and technical leads.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
• Build and maintain CyberArk automation scripts and utilities using PowerShell and Python.
• Develop, enhance, and test CyberArk plugins and custom connectors.
• Build and validate CyberArk integrations using out‑of‑the‑box and custom plugins.
• Contribute to code repositories through updates, refactoring, bug fixes, and documentation.
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting PAM deployment automation.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to securely extract and deliver PAM‑related data.
• Provide L3 support within assigned scope for CyberArk application, plugins, and integrations.
• Engineer and support CyberArk PAS components (Vault, PVWA, CPM, PSM) under direction.
• Support CyberArk upgrades, patching, certificate updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Execute development, testing, and release activities following SDLC and change processes.
• Collaborate with Production teams to ensure smooth deployments and stable releases.
• Support PAM integrations with identity workflows (e.g., LAM / IdentityIQ via SCIM or API).
• Assist with migration activities from legacy PAM solutions to CyberArk CP/CCP.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
• 3+ years of experience in software development, automation, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience developing scripts, and automation utilities.
• Familiarity with code repositories (Git, TFS, SVN) and contribution workflows.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Working knowledge of CyberArk PAM concepts and component interactions.
• Experience building or supporting REST/API integrations.
• Working knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, AD/LDAP, servers, and basic networking.
• Understanding of IAM/PAM principles, least privilege, and secure access controls.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to execute assigned engineering tasks with attention to detail and quality.
Nice to Have:
• Hands‑on exposure to CyberArk plugin development or CP/CCP integrations.
• Experience contributing to enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments.
• Interest in pursuing CyberArk certification (not required at hire).
• Experience writing or maintaining technical documentation.
