Global Finance - Reporting, is a finance function providing financial reporting and analytical support to Executive Management at both the All Bank and Divisional levels. The Reporting team supports Canadian Banking, Global Wealth Management, Global Banking and Markets, International Banking, Group Treasury, and Executive Office business units.
The Senior Analyst, Global Finance Reporting will be primarily responsible for the processes leading to the production of financial and management reports across all business lines. This role will be involved in providing timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting and analysis of monthly and quarterly results for inclusion in the Bank’s overall external reporting and internal reporting. All activities that must be conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Support the production of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis (including externally published reports) on a timely basis while ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Contribute to the production of management reporting and analysis.
- Prepare, analyze, and post monthly journal entries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery within strict monthly timetables.
- Participate in the Annual Business Line Rule Update process, business line allocations, and adjustments required to produce business line results.
- Participate in the initiatives that are required to support strategic business changes, management decisions, and process improvements.
- Investigate and resolve accounting and reporting issues with business partners and management across all business lines.
- Maintain and develop strong controls over operational and analytical processes.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Professional accounting designation is preferred.
- Good understanding of financial and management accounting standards.
- Strong quantitative and financial analytical skills.
- Ability to relate financial data to business results.
- Solid understanding of the elements of effective controls over accuracy and completeness of data.
- Demonstrated experience in solving problems.
- Strong team player with the flexibility to multitask effectively with tight timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to excellent customer services.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills to present analysis and recommendations.
- Proficient knowledge of General Ledger system, reporting and analysis system, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI is an asset.
