Purpose:
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Banking & Markets, GBM Onboarding in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies
and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Provide business intelligence support and supporting areas by means of both repeatable and ad hoc reporting delivery reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc.) that enable informed business decisions.
• Contribute to the operational efficiency of the GBM Client Onboarding Function through managing the intake, tracking and delivery of requests for data reports from the client onboarding system databases and/or tracking tools.
• Perform complex database queries on a daily basis to support regulatory, operational and management information reporting activities globally.
• Support the Associate Director, Client Onboarding Reporting & Analytics (COBRA) in the design, development, and delivery of insightful KRI and KPI dashboards & reports, beginning from complex and unstructured data sets.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex counterparty and regulatory datasets that enable the design of new business processes and controls.
• Create and maintain documentation of processes, queries and audit trail to support the administration and data governance of client onboarding operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the KYC, AML and OTC onboarding lifecycle and related regulatory compliance obligations for the GBM business.
• Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of both the Bank’s and the Division's business strategies, shifting regulatory environment, evolving risk management practices and methodologies, new products, updated operational processes, and rapidly changing technology to be able to drive effective business solutions.

Must Have Skills:
• Data Analyst (data reporting/fulfilling business analyst related responsibilities, analyzing large amounts of data) – 2+ years of professional experience.
• Microsoft Office suite: Access, SharePoint (integrating with Access or Database), PowerPoint,Excel (Advanced)
• Excel functions: VBA/Macros, Power query, Fuzzy Match, Pivot tables (advanced), Joining tables, Advanced formulas – 3+ years of hands-on experience.
• Experience in SQL, Python, Tableau or Power BI reporting – 2+ years of hands-on experience
• Experience in reporting KPIs and reconciling large data sets.
• Experience creating dashboards and executive-level reports.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience working at global financial institution or Institutional client transactional data a plus.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML/Trade Reporting regulations.
• Experience managing a small-mid size database and/or managing the scope of a remediation project (i.e., database management and scope control)
Work Arrangement:
• Work in a standard office-based environment and no travel required.
