Purpose
The Contact Centre Platform (CCP) Intake Team is responsible for managing and coordinating incoming work requests from multiple lines of business. Operating within a complex environment where several development teams contribute to a shared PEGA‑based application, the Intake Team ensures that all work is clearly defined, accurately estimated, and aligned with organizational priorities.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Scrum Master to support the Intake Team in facilitating effective planning, cross‑team coordination, and consistent delivery practices. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of agile methodologies.
What You’ll Do:
Agile Leadership & Team Support
- Ensure adherence to agile principles, values, and frameworks.
- Apply a supportive leadership approach to guide the team and remove impediments.
- Provide coaching to enhance agile maturity, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate core agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.
Intake Management, Planning & Road‑Mapping
- Support the development and maintenance of long‑term product roadmaps.
- Lead estimation, prioritization, and refinement activities to ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
- Maintain essential documentation, including roadmaps, backlogs, release plans, and iteration goals.
- Ensure incoming work is well‑defined and ready for downstream delivery teams.
Cross‑Team and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with product owners, business sponsors, and technical partners.
- Coordinate across multiple development teams working on the same PEGA application to ensure alignment and effective handoffs.
- Facilitate the breakdown of epics into actionable user stories to support predictable delivery outcomes.
Delivery Governance & Execution
- Monitor and report on key agile metrics, including velocity, throughput, and flow efficiency.
- Promote value‑driven planning and incremental delivery practices.
- Support multiple initiatives or teams concurrently, as required.
- Align intake and planning activities with the platform’s monthly release cycles to ensure predictable and timely delivery.
What You'll Bring:
- Post‑secondary education in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field (preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading cross‑functional or cross‑regional teams in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master on recent projects or initiatives.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM or equivalent).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Comprehensive understanding of agile delivery practices, iterative planning, and software development lifecycles.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and agile reporting tools.
- Experience participating in or leading Scrum of Scrums.
Working Conditions
Work in standard office-based environments located in Scarborough and Downtown Toronto; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. No external travel required.
