INTRODUCTION
Join Scotia Wealth Management as a Regional Manager of Administration supporting the Toronto and Western Ontario region. In this leadership role, you will partner closely with the Regional Director and Branch Management teams to help deliver operational excellence, consistent client service, effective people leadership and strong execution of regional and national initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will act as a key partner and liaison between branches and Head Office teams, supporting consistent operational practices, branch administration, training, technology adoption and people-related initiatives across the region by:
- Driving regional strategic and operational initiatives, including training, technology and operations programs.
- Supporting the organization of annual regional conferences and offsites.
- Helping resolve outstanding issues between Head Office departments and branches to support efficient, consistent practices across the region.
- Facilitating communication between Head Office departments and Branch Administrators on issues, processes and programs.
- Staying current on upcoming firm and industry changes, upgrades and operational requirements.
- Partnering with Branch Managers on the recruitment, onboarding, training and coaching of Branch Administrators.
- Supporting branch management with staff matters, performance support, licensing progress, compensation programs and year-end processes.
- Conducting regular branch visits to provide training, coaching and support to Branch Administrators.
- Promoting career development, best-practice sharing and a culture of high performance, inclusion and continuous improvement.
- Supporting competitive recruit onboarding in partnership with Branch Management and sales management teams.
DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS?
We would love to work with you if you have:
- Experience in the investment industry, including 2–5 years in a supervisory or people leadership role.
- Approval as an Investment Representative (IR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, compliance and operational requirements within the investment industry.
- Excellent planning, organizational, time management and project management skills.
- Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with branch teams, Head Office stakeholders and senior leaders.
- High degree of accuracy, discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- A forward-thinking, flexible and results-focused leadership style, with a commitment to collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.
