We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Engineer with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles. This role will focus on designing, developing, and integrating scalable solutions that enhance customer engagement, enable data-driven marketing, and deliver personalized experiences at scale.
You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and technology teams to deliver robust Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives while adhering to best practices in architecture, security, and compliance. In addition to hands-on development, you will contribute to solution architecture, integration strategy, and performance optimization across multiple Salesforce clouds and enterprise systems.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Solution Design & Architecture
• Partner with architects and technical leads to design end-to-end solutions leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM
• Define integration patterns, data flows, and security models for multi-cloud and third-party integrations
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, and compliance requirements
Marketing Cloud Development & Integration
• Design, build, and deploy solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, etc.)
• Develop and maintain AMPscript, SQL queries, and server-side JavaScript for dynamic, personalized marketing content
• Configure data extensions, automation workflows, and segmentation for targeted campaigns
• Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external systems using APIs and middleware
Platform Integration & Data Management
• Build and manage APIs, ETL processes, and real-time integrations between Salesforce clouds and enterprise systems
• Implement data governance, synchronization, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Optimize data models for segmentation, personalization, and reporting
Quality & Governance
• Establish and enforce development standards, naming conventions, and documentation practices
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security and performance best practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 3 years in Marketing Cloud
• Strong knowledge of Marketing Cloud Studios and Builders, AMPscript, SQL, and automation workflows
• Proficiency in Salesforce development tools (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Experience designing and implementing integrations with enterprise applications and data sources
• Understanding of data modeling, segmentation, and customer journey orchestration
• Familiarity with architectural principles for cloud-based solutions
• Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Architect certifications
• Experience with CI/CD tools for Salesforce (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of middleware platforms (Mulesoft, Informatica)
• Experience in marketing automation or CRM development in a large-scale environment
• Strong problem-solving and architectural thinking skills
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality deliverables
