The Collections Solutions Delivery & Support team is responsible for delivering both Technology and Business projects aligned with the Canada and International Banking (IB) Collections Technology roadmap, while fully adhering to the Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF). The primary purpose of the Project Manager is to lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery of one or multiple projects—managing scope, quality, timelines, and costs within defined constraints or through effective change management when requirements evolve. This position ensures that initiatives deliver measurable business value by applying strong project leadership, governance, and execution discipline.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Develop project plans that establish accountability, KPIs, resource needs, and full execution requirements, including operational readiness.
  • Assess project proposals to determine scope, timelines, funding constraints, and the appropriate delivery approach.
  • Define success criteria and build schedules, milestones, deliverables, and activities for all project phases.
  • Lead and support crossfunctional teams, ensuring effective workload distribution and facilitation of agile ceremonies.
  • Create staffing plans aligned to capacity and project demands, coordinating recruitment or resource assignment as needed.
  • Execute communication plans and conduct risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project stability.
  • Proactively manage scope changes, risks, and potential issues, developing contingency plans when required.
  • Monitor project execution to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of information across all reporting channels.
  • Align project outcomes with business objectives, collaborating with leadership and architectural teams to ensure crossinitiative cohesion.
  • Track timelines and budgets, coordinating team activities to keep projects on schedule and within financial targets.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project reporting—including dashboards, RAID logs, financial forecasts, and documentation—aligned to PMO standards.
  • Ensure adherence to standardized documentation practices and maintain all required project artifacts in line with methodology expectations.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have:   

  • University Degree and 2 or more years of project management experience (Traditional and Agile delivery)
  • Past experience using Project Management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheets
  • Fully bilingual English & Spanish
  • Knowledge of Collections Operations is a strong asset
  • PMP certification is preferred and desired experience in Hybrid Methodologies (Traditional and Agile)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management
  • Desired strong knowledge of Collections-related applications and predictive dialer technologies
  • Desired Knowledge of Retail and Small Business products and services
  • Desired working experience in a multi-disciplinary teams
