Purpose:

The Enterprise Remediation Office PMO has been established to drive and govern the overall execution of the Enterprise AML Remediation Program through proper PMO best practices. The Sr Project Manager candidate will apply their leadership capabilities, experience, and knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and governance to support the Director, Special Projects - this support encompasses driving out and maintaining project plans and executing standard governance processes, interfacing with the various project and business teams.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Working with the Director –the Senior Project Manager will assist with:
  • Driving key insights from a project execution perspective, to inform executive leadership
  • Driving the project plan view and required decisions / approaches
  • Driving the overall enterprise program execution – working with the AML leads and business execution teams in both an advisory and challenge function, deep diving into workstream issues to drive resolution
  • Coordinating with Enterprise Technology for overall technology planning and reporting
  • Identifying and raising any Enterprise activities that may be common across the business lines
  • Preparing status reports for executive steering and risk committees
  • Coordinating with the EPMO Program Delivery and Reporting teams to feed data into Enterprise status reports
  • Coordinating with the EPMO financial team to maintain local budget forecasts
  • The Sr. PM will be directly responsible for:
  • Working with counterparts in the business line PMOs to identify, document, assess, and monitor all Enterprise-level dependencies, risks, issues, and required decisions
  • Maintaining the Microsoft Project integrated plan
  • Maintaining the master data file on all initiatives
  • Maintaining all PowerPoint-based graphical roadmap views
  • Maintaining the Enterprise RAID log

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Project Management and Execution: several years of experience and success in leading and managing complex projects in an official PM capacity, demonstrating PMO methodologies for plan, risk, issue, and decision management and reporting
  • PMO Leadership:  ability to build relationships and influence across all stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills and consensus building
  • Problem Solving Facilitation:  ability to facilitate problem solving sessions and lead executives and directors through a methodical approach to identifying, clarifying, and scoping issues, followed by solution definition and planning; strong analytical capabilities to model and solve problems individually
  • Executive Communications:  strong content creation and presentation skills, to clearly capture, shape, and convey messages to an executive audience
  • Business Finance / Modeling Foundations:  demonstrated understanding and application of fundamental finance knowledge; ability to create and/or manage basic financial or forecasting models for program planning and benefit tracking and reporting
  • Tools: MS Project proficiency, strong MS Excel skills for data capture and analysis, good MS PowerPoint skills for leadership communication

 

Education/Experience:
•    Minimum education level of a University Degree, or equivalent relevant experience
•    PMP or related certification not required but considered an asset
•    MBA a strong asset
•    Previous AML / Regulatory / Compliance experience not required but an asset
