As part of Scotiabank’s investment platform, the Program Analyst Advisory is responsible for designing and building components of enterprise applications and providing consultative guidance on all project assignments related to Pega Compliance application. In this role, you will lead the team to ensure that both the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution align with customer requirements, while also coaching resources effectively.

  

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Partner with both the client and the business team to develop high quality deliverables across all phases of a project, from participating in the requirements, design and build phases, delivering high-quality deliverables, through to user acceptance testing.
  • Leverage your industry expertise to consult and influence the client's direction, in the pursuit of Pega best practices.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to and enthusiasm for customer success by ensuring that the delivered product is fully-functioning, performs to business requirements defined and approved by the client, and meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Mentor and train client business stakeholders in key Pega technology functionality.
  • Provide technical training and user support to technical and business groups.
  • Provide production support rotation 24/7.

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Experience with Pega Infinity 24/25 applications is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 
  • Strong working knowledge of OS/RHEL and Application Server/Tomcat/JBoss
  • System Integration knowledge including REST APIs, microservices architectures
  • Ability to maintain, scale and monitoring High Volume Enterprise applications
  • Deep understanding of authentication mechanisms, security protocols, SSL certificate management, and encryption
  • Experience with database integration including SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI) and IBM DB2
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results.
  • Driven and team-oriented with a demonstrated ability to lead by example.
  • Technically savvy individual with exposure to a variety to technologies, including object-oriented techniques/principles, database design, application & web servers.
  • Able to lead and explain it to both business & IT stakeholders.
  • Able to match technology solutions to customer needs.
  • Over 10 years Pega design, development experience
  • Computer Science degree is preferred
  • CSA and CSSA certifications must have; CLSA is nice to have.
