The Team

Responsible to design, implement, manage & provide Infrastructure/Platform/Architect support to all major Oracle Applications used in Global Finance like Oracle E-Business Suite, Peoplesoft, OFSAA and OBIEE/Essbase/Hyperion. Provides immediate response to critical production program-wide problems to evaluate solutions, coordinate applicable recovery, and ensure resolution.

 

The Role

The incumbent will be responsible to provide platform/application implementation & support to address Oracle PeopleSoft Financials application issues across the different programs and line of business units. Carry out but not limited to Project migrations, Database refresh, PeopleSoft patching using PUM, Application Security patching, Application upgrade, Client installations, Unix Shell scripting etc. Incorporate and work with multiple tools such as Autosys, CAPI, Data Stage, Nifi..etc to improve the batch design as per project requirements.

 

Some of the key accountabilities include:

 

  • Extensive experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Administration to hold overall accountability for technical delivery and implementation of projects involving installation, configuration, and support.
  • Responsible for applying security and application patches on the Oracle PeopleSoft financials application to ensure certification and security compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Unix shell scripting to provide support and implement batch automations in AIX and Linux platforms.
  • Aid in architecture decisions for platform and supporting infrastructure across services, data, pipelines, and deployment.
  • Deliver and collaborate on platform roadmaps with product management and cross-functional operations and application teams.

 

 

What You Will Bring to Succeed

  • Possess 7+ years of professional IT experience working with PeopleSoft Financials application.
  • Solid experience with PeopleSoft administration tasks such as Project migrations, Database refresh, Application support, Change Management (using CAPI), NT scheduler support (printer setup).
  • Expertise in application patching such as PeopleSoft patching using PUM, Application Security patching, Application upgrade, Client installations.
  • 5+ years of experience working on Linux/AIX platforms and providing automation solutions using shell scripting, configuring SFTP connections, debugging batch code.
  • 3+ years of experience with batch automation tools such as Autosys, Sysadmiral.

 

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience on other Oracle applications such as Oracle EBS, OFSAA and OBIEE/Essbase/Hyperion
  • Experience on Exadata Appliance, ETL tools like Data Stage, Nifi, DevOps tool like Ansible
