The Role

As Manager, OTC Confirmations, you will lead and oversee global OTC Confirmations activities, ensuring business strategies and operational initiatives are executed in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk standards. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, timely confirmations while strengthening controls, driving process efficiency, and developing a high‑performing team.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Lead and promote a customer focused culture that supports strong client relationships and collaboration across the Bank.
  • Oversee day to day OTC Confirmations operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.
  • Continuously review operational workflows to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process and technology improvements.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures and static data are properly documented, maintained, and kept current.
  • Manage and develop team performance by:
    • Assigning work effectively to meet business objectives and service expectations.
    • Monitoring daily volumes, workloads, and key management reports to ensure balanced capacity across the team.
    • Coaching team members, recognizing key contributors, and supporting performance and development planning.
  • Partner with technology and change teams to support enhancements to confirmation platforms, including User Acceptance Testing and implementation activities.
  • Provide leadership support during production issues and participate in issue resolution as needed.
  • Embed the Bank’s risk appetite into daily decision making, ensuring strong oversight of operational, regulatory, AML/ATF, and conduct risks.
  • Build an inclusive, high performance environment by driving employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development aligned with business strategy.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of OTC Confirmations processes, including associated controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Solid understanding of OTC derivative products and the structure of derivative transactions.
  • Working knowledge of global depositories and the rules and regulations governing OTC markets.
  • Experience interpreting and applying ISDA Definitions and related documentation.
  • Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams.
