The Role
As Manager, Corporate Lending Services (Canadian Agency & Bilateral), you will lead a team responsible for administering syndicated and bilateral credit facilities for Corporate Clients across GBM and other business units. You will oversee day-to-day loan operations, ensuring accurate execution, strong controls, and consistent service delivery.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Lead a team responsible for the administration of agented syndicated and bilateral credit facilities
- Oversee end-to-end loan operations, including limit management, loan disbursements, settlements, and ongoing servicing
- Ensure all transactions adhere to authorized credit terms, loan documentation, and internal policies
- Monitor daily operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to service level expectations
- Identify and escalate exceptions, control gaps, and operational risks to senior management
- Oversee operational controls and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk frameworks
- Manage team capacity, workflow distribution, and productivity across daily operations
- Review work volumes, reporting, and operational metrics to support performance tracking
- Support resolution of escalations, exception items, and operational issues across stakeholders
- Participate in process improvements, operational initiatives, and special projects
- Partner with internal stakeholders including Front Office, lenders, and internal business units to support loan servicing activities
- Support system usage and data integrity within loan platforms (e.g., Loan IQ) to ensure accurate processing and reporting
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- University degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience in corporate lending operations or loan administration, including syndicated and bilateral credit facilities
- Knowledge of loan lifecycle processes, including disbursements, settlements, limit management, and servicing
- Experience interpreting and applying loan documentation, credit agreements, and authorized credit terms
- Familiarity with loan processing systems such as Loan IQ
- Understanding of operational risk, internal controls, and regulatory/compliance requirements within lending operations
- Experience managing or overseeing operational workflows, volumes, and reporting
- Exposure to capital markets and corporate banking products and processes
