The Role
As Manager, Systems & Change – GWO Lending Services (CLS), you will support corporate lending operations by ensuring business strategies, initiatives, and system changes are executed effectively and in compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, standard procedures, and the global operating model.
Based in Toronto, you will be part of a global “follow‑the‑sun” managed services team responsible for the Loan IQ platform, which supports corporate lending operations across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. This role focuses on functional system support, issue resolution, vendor coordination, and delivery of system enhancements in partnership with business and technology teams.
You will contribute to both “run the bank” daily operations and “change the bank” initiatives, ensuring system stability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of the lending platform.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Provide functional support for the Loan IQ system, including issue triage, escalation, and resolution in partnership with internal technology teams and external vendors
- Support daily operational activities and strategic change initiatives within GWO Lending Services in alignment with regulatory requirements and global operating standards
- Maintain deep functional knowledge of Loan IQ and corporate lending operations, including industry conventions and workflows
- Coordinate with vendor support teams and internal technology partners for system changes, enhancements, and defect management
- Lead and manage user acceptance testing (UAT), system upgrades, and change deployments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on system usability, efficiency, and user experience
- Ensure system configurations and deployments align with operational controls, regulatory reporting requirements, and risk frameworks
- Support onboarding of new systems and ensure adherence to control and compliance requirements
- Collaborate across GWO, Regulatory & Business Initiatives, Finance, Credit Administration, and Technology to support delivery of system and business change
- Contribute to a strong control environment aligned to operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk requirements
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Hands‑on experience with Loan IQ in a corporate or commercial lending environment
- Working knowledge of corporate lending operations, including loan processing, servicing, and lifecycle management
- Experience supporting system operations within a global or multi‑region delivery model
- Experience coordinating with technology teams and external vendors for issue resolution and system changes
- Background supporting UAT testing, production releases, system upgrades, and change deployments
- Knowledge of operational controls and regulatory reporting requirements within lending or financial services
- Exposure to operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF, and conduct risk frameworks in a banking environment
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
