Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Time Operations, leads and oversees a team in Global HR Services ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Contributes to the overall success of the Global Workforce Time & Attendance system roll out and business transformation while fully supporting the existing operation in Canada. The Manager, Time & Operations provides operational support, reporting visibility, and ensures data accuracy within Workforce Time & Attendance and SAP. 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be driving: 

  • Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Supports project execution of Global HR expansion initiatives and business transformation by providing insights, strategic thinking and execution of change management/communication strategies for changes impacting the department and ensures critical external stakeholders are well connected to key initiatives.
  • Provides support for multiple small HR Technology projects and/or manage specific sections of large projects to implement WorkForce Time & Attendance system. This involves planning and scheduling resources, developing detailed project plans, monitoring progress against planned tasks and multiple deadlines.
  • Collaborates with Global HR Technology to monitor, assess, test, and troubleshoot any system errors and recommends WorkForce Time & Attendance system enhacenments, process improvements to ensure optimal performance and meet business requirements.
  • Evaluates and analyzes existing HR policies, procedures and current processes to identify system enhancements, process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to address gaps.
  • Defines goals, prioritize activities, tracks progress, manage multiple deadlines, use critical thinking skills to solve problems, and handle interpersonal conflicts in the organization to navigate thorugh several projects and operational activities.
  • Leads and motivates the Time Operations team in completing daily operational activities related to the Time & Attendance processes such as timely reporting execution, case resolution, data quality, and follows documented procedures to ensure consistent delivery of service according to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Provides leadership, constructive feedback, active listening, guidance, training, motivate and mentor direct reports so they can succeed in their positions.
  • Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations within his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • Builds a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: 

  • College Diploma or University Degree on related field
  • Previous (2-5 years) experience in project management, business transformation, change management, continuous process improvement and operations lead experience
  • Strong and very solid analytical skills, problem solving, detail oriented, strategic and critical thinking
  • Knowledge of WorkForce Time & Attendance, Success Factors, and SAP is desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficient knowledge of Power Point, and Word
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven supervisory/leadership experience
  • Fluent in Spanish is considered an asset
