The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading Bank-wide sourcing, supplier management and project activities for the assigned category portfolio while working closely with senior business unit leadership and other sourcing leaders. The Manager will collaborate with senior business unit leadership and sourcing leaders in pursuit of improvements in quality, innovation, and service levels.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with Business Unit and Operations leaders to fully understand key business drivers, spend drivers, and achieve required support levels.
  • Directly manage and implement best practices in sourcing initiatives.
  • Manage category within and across the Bank’s business segments and serve as a key contributor to a well-developed and evolving supplier management process.
  • Establish and develop on-going strategic relationships with key suppliers during major sourcing/project initiatives.
  • Act as the issues/incident escalation point for the supplier that may have an enterprise-wide impact or not resolved at the business level.
  • Develop Top-to-Top Enterprise Supplier Meeting facilitation materials and conduct Top-to-Top Supplier Meetings for enterprise suppliers.
  • Work directly with Supplier Executive Owner to inform on performance and creation of an enterprise product/service roadmap.
  • Lead the supplier relationship team that will consist of various stakeholders (Supplier Management team, Contract Owners, Strategic Sourcing/ Category Lead and Executive Owner).

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have:   

  • 2+ Years of Procurement and Supplier Management experience within the Financial, Insurance, Government or related industries.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders.
  • Resiliency to adapt to changes and obstacles.
  • Complex negotiation skills (multi-county/cross-business lines.)
  • Spanish speaking would be an asset (optional)
