Job Purpose

The Manager Retail Investments Product Support in Retail Investments is responsible to support the product team, customer engagement team and customer acquisition team as a product subject matter expert of all Investments products (High Interest Savings Accounts, Registered and non registered investment plans, and Term Deposits.  The role’s purpose is to align product value proposition across channels and support the product team in delivery of product enhancements projects.


Key Accountabilities

1. Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.


2. Support retail investment products positioning on direct channels and on engagement team and acquisition teams campaigns:

  • Provide subject matter expertise to acquisition and engagement teams in support of creative development and product positioning
  • Work collaboratively with Digital Factory to maintain non campaign digital communication with customers on both authenticated and non-authenticated channels
  • Maintain product factsheets and product collateral in support of all channels


3. Inform the different teams of competitive developments and competitive landscape

  • Maintain regular view of competitive landscape and competitive offering
  • Provide insights on competitors activities as it specifically relates to investment product to product team, customer engagement team and customer acquisition team


4. Support the product team in delivery of product and channel enhancements projects

  • Support the product teams in developing internal communication related to in-flight projects
  • Support channels in development of product related communication, working closely with Customer Experience team
  • Join Agile squads as needed as product subject matter expert in delivery of product and channel enhancements


5. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.


6. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years working experience
  • Experience in Agile is an advantage
