The manager, pricing & insurance will be part of a team that is accountable for management of lending margins and embedded insurances for the Canadian credit card portfolio. This includes the determination of lending rates, fees and service charges for credit cards, operational management of processes related to pricing and product embedded insurances, as well oversight of projects for product and feature system enhancements related to pricing and insurances    


Key Accountabilities


Example accountabilities include:

  • Execute pricing strategy for credit cards to optimize lending revenues
  • Keep up to date on competitive insights for pricing changes in the market
  • Manage lending margins across suite of credit card products, including continuously monitoring and refinement of fee margin reports and pricing
  • Recommend pricing changes based on competitive, customer and profitability analysis
  • Lead initiatives for pricing changes
  • Execute product strategy for credit card embedded insurances 
  • Keep up to date on competitive insights for credit card embedded benefits in the market
  • Operational management of product embedded insurances

Education and Other Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4-5 years of professional experience, payments and banking industry experience is an asset
  • Product, project management, strategy, consulting or experience operating a business is a definite asset
  • Experience and competency with building presentations, project plans and dashboards
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skillsv
