Purpose
The Manager, Portfolio Repricing plays a key role in delivering customized pricing solutions for GTB products, with a strong focus on portfolio-level repricing initiatives. The role draws on deep pricing expertise, GTB product knowledge, data insights, and strong cross-functional relationships to deliver strategic pricing recommendations for new clients, renewals, and proposals across corporate, commercial, and small business segments.

This role is instrumental in supporting bank-wide portfolio repricing efforts that protect and grow revenue while maintaining competitive pricing. The incumbent also contributes to broader Strategic Pricing initiatives—supporting client acquisition, relationship deepening, revenue growth, and enhanced client experience. For major or high-profile opportunities, the Manager partners directly with executive leadership to evaluate and approve optimal pricing structures.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support enterprise repricing initiatives by working closely with the Senior Manager to deliver datadriven, clientfocused pricing recommendations across customer segments for GBP products. Ensure decisions reflect overall client value, economic conditions, market trends, product usage, and delivery channels.
  • Optimize revenue and profitability by ensuring pricing decisions support deposit growth, diversify revenue sources, strengthen client relationships, and maximize profitability. Escalate complex pricing cases where needed to align on optimal pricing outcomes.
  • Leverage analytics to assess client and subsegment profitability, identify revenue leakage, and uncover opportunities within deposits, cash management, and payment products involving nonstandard pricing. Recommend actions to drive stable fee and revenue growth.
  • Identify pricing and renewal opportunities using analytics to flag clients with expired agreements, aging terms, or significant discounts. Partner with Sales to ensure timely renewals.
  • Coordinate pricing implementation by working with the Business Support Centre (BSC) and Sales to ensure accurate, timely application of approved pricing. Investigate and resolve billing variances and ensure clear communication to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Analyze the commercial cards portfolio including pricing structures, rebates, fee discounts, spend patterns, interchange yield, and overall client relationship depth. Use insights to refine pricing models and assumptions and recommend pricing decisions that improve returns.
  • Enable new business and deepen relationships by partnering with Proposal Writing and Sales to support client acquisition and optimize pricing structures for existing clients.
  • Recommend productpricing solutions that align with client needs while driving portfolio growth and revenue expansion.
  • Support business partners by providing pricing guidance and delivering training on pricing tools, systems, and processes as required.
  • Advance analyticsdriven decision making to improve pricing effectiveness, strengthen client relationships, and enhance visibility into pricing trends and opportunities.
  • Champion a clientfirst culture by leveraging relationships across the Bank to support Sales teams in deepening existing relationships and acquiring new primary clients.

What You'll Bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial modeling, proposal writing, pricing, BSC roles, banking, or product sales.
  • Strong knowledge of business accounts, payments and cash management products, pricing strategies, data and analytics, business processes, IT&S, and sales processes.
  • Experience collaborating with crossfunctional partners such as GBP Products, BSC, IT&S, Finance, Canadian Business Banking, GBM Corporate Sales, and others.
  • Graduate degree or professional financial designation (asset).
  • Deep understanding of client onboarding, pricing implementation processes, and pricing proposal development.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, VBA, and/or Power BI.
