Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Manager, PMO and working in close collaboration with partners across the Bank, the incumbent is responsible for end-to-end project management for assigned initiatives within Private Banking. Responsibilities include defining and managing project scope, schedule, budget (as applicable), risks and issues; coordinating cross-functional resources in a matrix environment; supporting business readiness and implementation activities; and providing clear, timely status reporting to stakeholders. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to escalate impediments appropriately to ensure delivery against agreed objectives.
What you will be doing:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans (workplan, milestones, dependencies) and drive execution across business and technology partners to deliver approved outcomes on time and within scope.
- Facilitate project governance routines (kick-off, working sessions, status updates, steering/decision forums as required), ensuring stakeholders have appropriate visibility and decisions are documented.
- Coordinate project resources in a matrixed environment, clarifying roles and responsibilities, tracking deliverables, and supporting the Senior Manager, PMO with capacity and sequencing recommendations.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key business and functional partners (e.g., Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal), and coordinate with vendors as needed to support delivery.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and change requests; propose mitigation/contingency actions and escalate promptly to the Senior Manager, PMO when thresholds are exceeded.
- Maintain project documentation and artifacts (charter, plan, RAID, decisions, communications) in accordance with governance and audit requirements.
- Track and manage program financials, including budgets, forecasts, spend, variance analysis and benefits modeling, and provide insights and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate operational and go to market readiness, working with business owners and functional partners to ensure delivery outputs are complete, tested, and ready for implementation and transition to steady state.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities / decisions, and ensure project delivery aligns with applicable policies and controls.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations in accordance with the Bank’s Values, Code of Conduct and applicable sales principles, while ensuring day-to-day project controls support obligations related to operational risk, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance or related field; PMP designation is an asset
- Working knowledge of standard project methodologies and experience supporting and/or leading projects with multiple resources in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
- Typically, 3-5 years of experience in project delivery, preferably within financial services and/or wealth management.
- Strong communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient technology fluency & adaptability, especially with Microsoft Office (Copilot, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiar with project management and collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results and improving ways of working.
- Ability to run smaller projects and/or discrete workstreams independently with appropriate oversight.
- Demonstrated curiosity and learning & innovation mindset.
