The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, innovative team that supports the Campaign Execution Offer Management and fulfilment functions within Scotiabank’s Canadian Bank Analytics group. This individual will be focused on managing the end-to-end Offer Management process and support fulfilment of target and mass Offers.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:   

  • Provide consultation and expertise to the business/product teams on the use of existing offer functionalities and for new offer constructs as required.
  • Manage the intake process for offer submissions from concept to testing and implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across each pillar (campaign execution, analytics, marketing, product owners, technology, QA, channel partners, data engineers/DBAs, etc.) to ideate, track, implement and deploy offers in market
  • Configuration and Maintenance of campaign offers withing Zafin offer management tool.
  • Support issue escalation management and the dispute resolution of inquiries related to programs supported by the technology platform. Works alongside business partners to understand and identify customer experience opportunities to reduce customer escalations and maintain platform integrity
  • Manage governance structure with vendor including monthly 360 health checks/monitoring of SLA agreement management, incident response management, change management & financial management as per agreed upon contract; managing overall performance & escalating as necessary
  • Support Senior Manager with new strategic roadmap opportunities, coordination of Monthly and Quarterly business reviews, Annual success planning/strategy sessions, Semi-annual customer journey retrospectives/planning.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
  • Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
  • Present and share progress, insights and impacts with stakeholders / leadership and maintain strong lines of communication with technology partners to guide future enhancements and capabilities.
  • Interface with external third party vendors.
  • Support the achievement of business line targets including NAA, Account and Balance Growth, Primary Customer objectives.
  • Adherence to compliance and regulations.
  • Deep understanding of marketing offers and capabilities and recent experience working with Zafin tools like zPlatform designer

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:  

  • Strong business sense with knowledge of financial industry concepts
  • Strong project management experience in managing multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Experience working with large data sets and relational databases and SQL skills (Python, Google Cloud Platform, DB2 , SAS etc.)
  • Self-motivated, attention to detail, a high aptitude for problem solving and a natural interest in understanding targeted campaigns/marketing communications
  • Experience working with multiple business partners and delivery timelines
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • 5+ years of related experience needed, preferably within a banking or retail industry
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business and balance the needs of multiple organizations
  • Experience leading change initiatives within large, complex organizations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, vendor/relationship management skills, co-ordination and strategic influencing skills, to facilitate teamwork and execution of priority initiatives and to collaborate and effectively build strong working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to innovate, communicate new ideas and inspire support amongst teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to synthesize and communicate key information to various audiences
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database querying tools
