The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, innovative team that supports Campaign Execution and Offer Management within Scotiabank’s Canadian Bank Analytics group. This role owns the end-to-end offer configuration lifecycle across both mass and targeted marketing campaigns, translating business intent into clear offer constructs, offer fulfillment rules, testing plans, and in-market deployment.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:   

  • Lead offer configuration and design for mass and targeted marketing campaigns on a vendor managed offer management platform (Zafin). This includes offer constructions, set up fulfilment payout criteria, monitoring on offer performance, management of customer inquiries and investigations around offer payouts.
  • Provide consultation and expertise to business/product teams on existing offer capabilities and on new offer constructs; translate campaign objectives into platform-ready requirements and configuration.
  • Manage the offer intake process from concept through requirements, configuration, testing, approvals, and implementation; maintain intake SLAs, prioritization, and status tracking.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Campaign Execution, Marketing, Business Product Lines, Technology, QA, channel partners in cross functional agile teams to configure, test, and deploy offers in market.
  • Define and maintain offer design standards, reusable templates, naming conventions, and governance controls to enable scalable, consistent execution across products and offer types.
  • Own testing strategy and execution support (unit/functional, UAT, regression) for configured offers; validate targeting/eligibility, pricing/benefit logic, fulfilment outcomes, prior to launch.
  • Monitor in-market offer enrollment / payout performance and operational health of offers (e.g., configuration defects, incident trends, fulfilment exceptions); support issue triage/escalation and dispute resolution, and implement corrective actions to protect customer experience.
  • Identify and support process and operational efficiency opportunities by optimizing technology, centralizing core processes, and re-engineering workflows (e.g., intake, testing, release, and reporting).
  • Manage governance structure with vendor including monthly 360 health checks, SLA monitoring, incident response, change management, and financial management per contract; escalate as required.
  • Present progress, insights, and impacts to stakeholders/leadership; maintain strong communication with technology partners to guide future enhancements and capabilities.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:  

  • 5+ years of related experience needed, preferably within marketing operations or marketing analytics support
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and designing offers for mass and targeted marketing campaigns using offer management/decisioning tools (e.g., Zafin zPlatform or similar tools like Salesforce offer management). Direct experience with Zafin tooling is preferred.  
  • Experience in campaign execution / marketing operations dealing with offer / incentive management (eligibility, fulfilment, customer communications).
  • Experience managing multiple work streams simultaneously, balancing delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience translating business intent into clear requirements and configuration specifications.
  • Strong understanding of data flows and offer system/platform capabilities (inputs, constraints, rule logic, and downstream fulfilment) required to effectively configure offers and troubleshoot configuration issues.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL; experience with large data sets and tools/environments such as DB2, SAS, Python, and/or Google Cloud Platform is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience supporting testing (QA/UAT) and release readiness, including test case creation, defect triage, and validation of fulfilment outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a natural interest in targeted marketing communications and customer experience.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
