Title: Manager, Money Movement - 18 Month Term
Requisition ID: 258928
Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.
About the role
As a member of the Money Movement product team, you will help shape seamless, secure payment experiences across our digital channels. You’ll bring a strong understanding of customer needs, market trends, and payments capabilities to define problems worth solving and deliver product outcomes that simplify how clients move money.
You will work closely with product partners, business lines, and cross-functional teams (design, accessibility, customer experience, analytics, and technology) to translate customer journeys into clear, prioritized backlog items—and partner through delivery from discovery to launch. If you’re passionate about improving the way money moves in a digital-first world, this is the opportunity for you.
Is this role right for you?
- Collaborate on discovery for payments initiatives that evolve and improve how money moves for our clients.
- Use customer insights (research, feedback, and analytics) to iterate on solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with business lines to understand objectives and incorporate them into prioritization and roadmaps.
- Facilitate problem-solving with design and technology partners, helping unblock implementation challenges and clarify trade-offs.
- Work day-to-day with scrum teams: write and refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and participate in ceremonies (planning, reviews, grooming/refinement).
- Partner with analytics to define, measure, and analyze KPIs for new and enhanced features, translating results into product decisions.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive experiences—especially in mobile and payments.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer-facing digital product, technology, or delivery role (e.g., product management, business analysis, or related).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics for diverse audiences.
- A curious, experimental mindset and strong problem-solving skills (including comfort using modern tooling such as AI-assisted workflows).
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and experience participating in core ceremonies.
Success in this role looks like
- Within the first 30–60 days, develop a clear understanding of the current money movement journeys, stakeholder landscape, and active delivery work; identify opportunities to improve flow, clarity, or outcomes.
- Maintain a well-structured, prioritized backlog with strong user stories and acceptance criteria that enable predictable delivery.
- Demonstrate measurable product impact by defining KPIs and using data to inform decisions, trade-offs, and iteration.
- Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly to partners across business, design, and technology.
- Deliver one or more meaningful enhancements to digital payment experiences during the contract term, aligned to client needs and business outcomes.
Nice to have
- Experience in payments (Canada and/or global), including knowledge of payment rails and digital money movement journeys.
- Experience with digital wallets and tokenized payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay).
