The Role 


Contributes to the overall success of Loyalty & Partnerships Marketing within Canadian Banking Marketing by leading the planning, execution, and optimization of partner-led and loyalty-driven acquisition marketing initiatives. Ensures individual goals, plans, and initiatives are delivered in support of card acquisition, engagement, and portfolio growth objectives, while ensuring all activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

•    Leads the development and execution of acquisition marketing strategies across loyalty and external partner channels, ensuring alignment with business priorities, target audiences, and portfolio growth objectives.

•    Owns end-to-end delivery of partner and loyalty acquisition campaigns, including strategy development, channel planning, creative briefing, stakeholder alignment, and execution across paid, owned, and partner-led channels.

•    Acts as a subject matter expert on loyalty and partnership marketing, providing guidance on audience strategy, offer design, channel mix, and measurement to maximize acquisition efficiency and performance.

•    Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

 

Dimensions


•    Supports acquisition marketing efforts across loyalty platforms and multiple external partners
•    Works across multiple internal business units, including Product, Paid Media, Digital Marketing, Data & Analytics, Legal, and Compliance
•    Manages multiple concurrent acquisition campaigns and partner initiatives throughout the year
•    Oversees campaign-level budgets and partner marketing investments
•    Operates within regulatory requirements applicable to credit card marketing and customer acquisition


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? 


•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
•    Several years of experience in acquisition marketing, loyalty marketing, or partnership marketing, preferably within financial services or a regulated industry
•    Strong understanding of performance marketing, audience targeting, and campaign measurement
•    Experience working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and external partners
•    Working knowledge of marketing compliance, brand governance, and risk considerations in acquisition marketing

                                        
Working Conditions


•    Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel domestically may be required.
