The Manager ensures seamless execution of payroll initiatives by coordinating plans, tracking deliverables, and managing dependencies across teams. This role brings structure to day‑to‑day operations and project work, enabling clear communication, timely issue resolution, and transparent reporting. By aligning roadmaps and driving accountability, the Manager helps the Global Payroll & Time Standards Office (GPTSO) achieve operational excellence.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Lead and coordinate projects that advance GPTSO’s goals, including process improvements, audit closures, and technology implementations.
  • Drive end-to-end project lifecycle from strategy through execution.
  • Analyze business needs, synthesize data for actionable insights, track milestones and dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate collaboration across GPTSO, Modernization, Global HR Technology, and regional teams, while supporting frameworks such as RACI and intake models to ensure adoption across the organization.
  • Maintain project plans, leadership reporting, and manage cross-functional projects across the organization.
  • Direct planning, coordination, and risk management activities as the central resource, enabling the successful delivery of a diverse and complex project portfolio.
  • Establish governance frameworks, track milestones and dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools to synthesize insights, measure impact, and inform leadership decisions during transformation.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, HR, or related field.
  • 5+ years in project management, business analysis, or strategic operations roles.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, driving technology-enabled process improvements, and ensuring governance and stakeholder adoption.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects in a global or complex organizational environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging senior leadership and influencing stakeholders.
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) are highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven decision-making, including advanced analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Excel for reporting and insights.
  • Fluency in French and Spanish – written and speaking would be an asset
