The Team
Global Compliance Technology team plays a critical role in enabling Global Engineering for Operations and Functions initiatives. Specifically, in enabling the Bank to deliver against its mission to better serve our customers and ensure we adhere to Compliance standards
The Role
- Leads and oversees global technology development in Enterprise Technology ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
- The Manager is required to manage a team of IT professionals to provide technology guidance, project delivery and product support for various applications to support the Business Line.
- The candidate must be comfortable working in complex; enterprise cloud enabled environment and be well versed in leadership and technology.

- When need arises you want to roll up your sleeves to get into the technical details. You will examine existing designs and propose modern, meaningful, and cost-effective solutions, you will whiteboard solutions and debate them with senior developers, architects and business stakeholders
- You are able to take a vision statement or high-level problem and work with your team and various stakeholders to successfully execute against
- You will own, manage and maintain thorough understanding of Bank OpenPages and Compliance system capabilities, gaps and opportunities.
- You will provide analytic support in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
- You will assist in the review and evaluation of business initiatives, product and projects and formulate insightful guidance and input to business leaders.
- You will manage a global development team in delivery of your annual objectives and support your business partners in their various timelines.
- You will own, maintain, support and enhance existing applications.
- You will own regular code reviews for release activities.
- You will own production issue analysis and perform root cause analysis for production issues and implementation issues.
- You will assist the product owners and business analysts in discovering the current system behavior and provide recommendations on improving the current system.
- You will participate in Architecture Review and manage budget.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- You have 2-3 years of work-related experience within the Financial Services Industry.
- You have experience in consumer banking products and Business process management products
- You have 2+ years experience in delivery of large scale programs and global products
- Specialized knowledge of Power Platform apps would be an asset.
- Strong and proven analytical skills
- Strong working knowledge business solutioning, documentation and process mapping
- Strong technical solution management experience and skills
- Ability to work autonomously under tight timelines
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment where processes and procedures are consistently refined
- Strong capability to work with senior business leaders
- Strong verbal, written and communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
