The incumbent will provide support for AML/ATF program governance across the GBM footprint. The incumbent will help manage the Global GBM AML/ATF Issue Management process and its metrics and reporting, monitor relevant measures, metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) for the Global AML GBM Program reporting. The incumbent will support the implementation of global strategic initiatives and work with stakeholders to drive enhancement to the Global GBM AML/ATF Program.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting tools using Power BI, Excel and/or SQL. This includes creating reports and dashboards to share behavior, trends and information with stakeholders, providing value added insight and actionable recommendations for business partners and Management.
  • Partner with stakeholders and manages risk and control metrics across GBM jurisdictions to assess program effectiveness, identify trends and anomalies, and support improvement initiatives.
  • Help maintain the Issue GBM AML/ATF Management Solution tool, OpenPages/GIMS and support documentation, develop and maintain relevant reporting mechanism.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise AML Risk Team GBM AML Risk Issue updates related to GIMS (OpenPages). Work with Issue Owners and Managers to ensure timely completion of Issue actions plans.
  • Conduct regular management Issue-related reporting in accordance with policies and procedures; conduct regular reviews and data reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of the GBM Issue Management Tool, working with local jurisdictions, as necessary, to make appropriate updates / corrections.
  • Assist in project coordination efforts of key global initiatives being rolled out across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist with other internal reporting to senior executive stakeholders.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, or similar field. Advanced degrees or professional banking licenses / designations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence and data analytics tools including Power BI, Oracle SQL Developer, Excel, etc. is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience, or educational equivalent, in AML/ATF or compliance within a financial institution setting or professional services/management/consulting firm.
  • Prior experience working in banking and/or consulting firm, including ACAMS certification, is highly preferred.
  • Previous issue management and regulatory experience, preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required, including strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. SharePoint site experience preferred.

Working Conditions

  • The Manager, GBM AML Strategic Planning and Program Management, works in a professional office environment in downtown Toronto with a minimum of 3-day Return-to-Office (RTO) mandate (subject to change). 
  • This role involves a global remit, accordingly, frequent extended hours, including working with internal stakeholders in different time-zones are to be expected.
