Requisition ID: 258583

Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.

The Manager, Executive Compensation & Governance contributes to the overall success of the Executive Compensation team and the broader Global Rewards function by supporting the design, governance, administration, and reporting of executive compensation programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Executive Compensation, this role ensures executive compensation activities are delivered in alignment with the Bank’s business strategies, risk appetite, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.

This role plays a critical part in supporting executive compensation processes throughout the year, including incentive forecasting, year‑end compensation activities, governance and regulatory reporting, and preparation of materials for senior leadership and Board‑level committees. The Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy, independently managing assigned workstreams while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across Human Resources, Finance, Risk, and the business.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Champion a customer‑focused culture to deepen relationships with internal stakeholders and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the success of the Executive Compensation team by delivering individual goals, plans, and initiatives aligned with Global Rewards and enterprise strategies.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end process for collecting risk and conduct‑related incidents across business functions, including stakeholder communications, timelines, follow‑ups, and data validation.
  • Monitor and assess governance, regulatory, and emerging best‑practice developments related to executive compensation and risk alignment, identifying potential implications for the Bank.
  • Prepare materials and analysis to support Compensation Review Committee (CRC) meetings.
  • Manage the process to identify roles deemed material to the Bank, maintain and update the Material Risk Impact (MRI) employee population, and deliver year‑end communications to affected employees.
  • Support the administration of executive compensation programs, including equity‑based compensation with vesting and performance conditions.
  • Prepare and validate executive compensation accruals and forecasts, partnering closely with Finance and Reporting teams to ensure data accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Support the preparation of the annual Management Proxy Circular, including detailed compensation tables and disclosures.
  • Support year‑end executive compensation planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Prepare compensation recommendations for executive‑level new hires, promotions, transfers, and other transactions as required.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests, including internal equity assessments, market competitiveness analysis, and executive compensation insights.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • A university undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience in executive compensation, governance, and/or related compliance and regulatory work.
  • Prior experience supporting executive or incentive‑based compensation programs within a large, complex, or multinational organization.
  • Financial services industry experience, considered a strong asset.
  • Strong experience working with sensitive, highly confidential information, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professional ethics.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience preparing executive‑level materials and supporting senior leadership and Board‑level committees.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and polished presence.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and changing requirements in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage workstreams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • An inquisitive mindset with a strong desire to continuously learn and build subject‑matter expertise.
