The Manager, Corporate Functions Compliance, plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing our global Corporate Functions (CF) Compliance Program. This position leads the development and execution of compliance strategies and day-to-day activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies; and strengthens a world-class compliance framework that spans 13 Corporate Functions across 23 countries, safeguarding integrity and operational excellence at every level.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Drive Global Compliance Initiatives: Support compliance programs across diverse teams and geographies, while monitoring and assessing the impact of global regulatory developments.
  • Champion Independent Oversight: Empower risk owners and provide effective challenge to strengthen the organisation’s regulatory compliance management framework.
  • Enable Executive Decision-Making by ensuring timely escalation of compliance-related issues to senior management and the Board, supporting their oversight responsibilities.
  • Partner on Reviews and Audits: Collaborate on internal audits, external reviews, and regulatory inquiries to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Drive Issue Remediation: Support the resolution of internal, external, and regulatory compliance matters with precision and urgency.
  • Advise and Guide: Provide ongoing compliance advice to business units, ensuring alignment with the Compliance Management Framework (CMF).
  • Deliver Insightful Reporting: Coordinate and prepare key metrics and reports for Corporate Functions, ensuring accurate and timely input for committees, forums, and presentations.
  • Assess Risk Profiles: Offer informed opinions on compliance risk across Corporate Functions and maintain documentation that meets standards. within the Compliance Management Framework.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:

 

  • Post-secondary education, preferably a degree or designation in business administration, law, accounting, or finance, or extensive experience in compliance, risk management, or audit.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to prepare and coordinate compliance metrics and reporting for executive forums and committees, with strong attention to detail and the ability to synthesise complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of Corporate Functions and their interdependencies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and sound judgement in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of OpenPages System Modules (an asset).
