Contributes to the overall success of the Canadian Retail Client Value, Deposits & Investments team in Toronto, ON Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. This role supports the delivery of key strategic initiatives to drive product growth and optimization and to enhance our customer experience.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Growth & Market Insights:
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for product innovation.
• Support the development of business cases for new products, features, and growth initiatives.
Product & Process Enhancement:
• Assist in monitoring product performance and customer insights to inform strategy and improvements.
• Supports Technology teams within squad to ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives with the Deposits & Client Domains
Data & Reporting:
• Collect and analyse data to support business decisions related to growth and transformation.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior team members in a clear and actionable manner.
Keeping the Bank Safe:
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
Do you have the skills to succeed in this role? We’d love to hear from you if you have:
• Post-secondary education required; (MBA or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Consulting or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in team-oriented and agile environments.
• A self-starter with a passion for creating customer value and curiosity in the deposits space.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment (adaptable).
• An independent thinker with a desire to learn and team player who is adept at facilitating group problem solving.
• Knowledgeable about the banking industry.
• An individual with a desire and demonstrated aptitude to learn and master complex issues quickly.

• This role is located in our downtown Toronto, ON office location. Non-standard hours may be required to meet business objectives.
