Contribute to the overall success of the Bank by providing portfolio-level real estate analysis, business case development, and financial intelligence that enable effective executive decision-making across multiple business lines. The role supports network optimization strategies, capital investment planning, and real estate initiatives aligned to business objectives, cost discipline, and long-term portfolio sustainability. The incumbent plays a fundamental role in consolidating, analyzing, and translating real estate intelligence into clear, decision-ready recommendations. The role includes collaboration with Business Lines and Channel Performance partners in leading network strategy—as well as with Finance, Leasing, Design, Construction, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between business strategy, portfolio insights, and real estate execution. The role supports real estate initiatives across Canadian Banking Retail, International Banking, Canadian Commercial Banking, and Canadian Wealth Management portfolios. On occasion, the role also provides support for Canadian Corporate Office projects and Global Subsidiaries (non-retail) initiatives. All activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and established risk and control frameworks.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Coordinate and synthesize real estate, financial, and portfolio intelligence to support effective executive and senior management decision-making across multiple business lines.
- Provide clear, well-supported real estate recommendations for the cost-effective development, optimization, and positioning of office and branch networks, developed in partnership with Channel Performance and other business stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of real estate business cases, integrating qualitative rationale with robust financial analysis, capital forecasting, and risk considerations to support committee and executive-level approvals.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to assess the merits, trade-offs, and risks of capital investment initiatives across retail and non-retail portfolios.
- Act as a key liaison between Business Line and Channel Performance partners, GRECS, Finance, Construction, and other internal teams for major capital expenditure and real estate initiatives requiring approval.
- Conduct timely, high-quality research and analysis to support both standard and non-standard management requests, including market context, portfolio performance, and scenario assessments.
- Identify, promote, and implement improved approaches to analyzing, structuring, and presenting information to enhance clarity, consistency, and decision-making effectiveness.
- Support objectives across Canadian Banking Retail, International Banking, Canadian Commercial Banking, and Canadian Wealth Management by collaborating effectively within GRECS and with key business partners.
- Apply an understanding of the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and recommendations, ensuring appropriate consideration of operational, compliance, conduct, and financial risks.

- Perform other ad hoc project work as required from time to time, including supporting the Office Premises Strategy team with business case writing and financial analysis during periods of high demand or staff shortages.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Experience in financial analysis, business case development, and capital investment evaluation is required.
- Knowledge of Canadian Banking Retail, International Banking, Commercial Banking, and Wealth Management operating environments is an asset.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare clear, concise, executive-ready materials.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance long-term portfolio considerations and near-term priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently across varied subject areas, often under tight timelines.
- University degree in finance, economics, applied geography, urban planning, or a related discipline.
- Experience in market analysis, location analysis, or portfolio strategy is an asset.
