About the Role: 

This individual will play a key role in maintaining, streamlining, and enhancing our reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong data management skills, experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, and the ability to automate reporting processes using source data. Familiarity with SAS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:  

  • Maintain and optimize existing reporting solutions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Design and develop new reports and dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
  • Automate reporting processes by integrating source data and leveraging advanced programming techniques.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting platforms.
  • Utilize SAS and GCP for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for reporting and data visualization.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI (or similar BI tools).
  • Hands-on experience in cloud computing with SAS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Big Query and GCP Workstations for data processing and automation.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.
  • Ability to automate reporting workflows and integrate multiple data sources.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with financial services or lending portfolios is an asset.
