As the Manager, Acquisition Strategy & Campaign Management you will be responsible for developing and executing acquisition strategies that drive growth in Pre-Approved Credit Cards and Unsecured lending products across retail acquisition channels. The role leads end-to-end pre-approved campaign management, portfolio optimization, stakeholder engagement, and performance analysis to achieve acquisition, profitability, customer engagement, and risk objectives.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, curiosity and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies that improve customer acquisition outcomes and business performance.
The incumbent will report directly to the Senior Manager, Credit Cards Lifecycle and Engagement.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Acquisition Strategy & Portfolio Growth
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies for pre-approved credit cards and ULOC campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities.
- Recommend and implement acquisition initiatives across channels, offers, customer segments, and products.
- Continuously test and learn through champion/challenger and A/B testing frameworks.
- Campaign Management
- Lead end-to-end campaign execution from concept through post-campaign analysis.
- Translate business objectives into actionable campaign requirements and targeting strategies.
- Manage campaign prioritization and resolve execution issues proactively.
- Partner across different cross functional teams to deliver on business objectives.
- Performance Analytics & Insights
- Analyze customer/consumer insights and channel data to identify strengths and gaps, and extract insights to optimize future campaign performance.
- Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Develop business cases by identifying needs, analyzing potential options and assessing expected returns on investment.
- Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure acquisition initiatives comply with regulatory, risk, and bank policy requirements.
- Balance growth objectives with portfolio quality and credit risk considerations.
- Support governance processes, initiative approvals, and control frameworks.
- Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with partners across marketing, analytics, credit risk, product, technology and distribution channels.
- Influence stakeholders and drive alignment on strategic priorities.
- Present recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Strong understanding of the credit card business, acquisition or relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of digital and marketing methodologies.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Payments, Card Product Management and/or Acquisition and Sales roles preferred.
- Experience in campaign management, customer targeting, segmentation, and performance measurement.
- Working knowledge of credit risk, customer profitability, and customer lifecycle management.
- Proven project management, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
- Outstanding facilitation, and structured problem-solving skills, particularly in ambiguous situations.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical mindset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in delivering compelling business cases and presentations.
- Adept at navigating a multifaceted global organization to secure resources, information, and consensus with determination and creativity.
